Hi, I'm Kim!
I'm a certified professional cook, recipe developer, and long-time food gardener in the Las Vegas Valley. My fascination with food started at a young age and through the years, I've expanded my culinary skills, sharing the results with family and friends. In addition, over the past 10 years I've written the food column for Good Health Lifestyles magazine. A graduate of the Rouxbe Culinary School, I've also been fortunate enough to take cooking classes in New York City, Boston, Barcelona, and Paris.

But my love of food doesn't stop in the kitchen. As a young mom, I started a vegetable garden as a way to teach my kids about nature and the origins of the food they ate. That eventually morphed into a 1/4-acre organic kitchen garden in the California high desert. When I was "transplanted" to Las Vegas, I continued my gardening adventure in the desert, discovering the tips and tricks to successfully growing food in the Las Vegas Valley.
I'd love to share my passion for cooking and gardening with you and help you cultivate (or level up) your own passion for food, from garden to kitchen to table.
